Kartini Bench

Raft is renowned for its reclaimed teak furniture and industry-leading eco credentials. As the first company to use a solar-powered kiln in Indonesia, Raft dries its timber using up to 80% less energy than traditional methods, creating furniture that is both durable and responsibly made. Teak is a premium hardwood, naturally rich in oils that make it exceptionally strong, long-lasting, and able to grow without fertilisers or heavy irrigation. Raft exclusively uses reclaimed teak, carefully sourced from old ships, bridges, and homes, giving new life to a material with a rich history. Each piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans, preserving the natural grain, markings, and character of the wood. No two pieces are the same, resulting in sustainable, timeless furniture that is made to be lived with and valued for years to come.
